8 Tips for Curly/ Dry hair problems

Have you ever wanted to take your hair-dresser home with you or ask how can you fix your hair problems: Well here are the 8 most common problems and questions I get in the Salon:

1.          My hair is shedding: what can I do about it? It normal for our hair to shed 80-100 hairs per day: When you find unusual shedding:

A.         Check your stress (you can loose hair from stress)

B.          Medications? Check with your Dr.

C.          Over chemically hair: when hair is over chemical zed and untreated it will cause sever dryness and breakage: Consult with your stylist and treat hair with deep conditions/moisturizer/protein add oils to your cond. And trim all dead ends: and make a decision to give the hair a rest:

2-4.   Hair Loss: how can I tell if I’m loosing or just thinning naturally?

A. Thinning occurs naturally and with age: with hair loss, you can see patches and it occurs from within,  (see Dr.) Today there are great breakthroughs by using hair treatments and vitiams: I recommend: Phytospecificgrowth serum and specific cap energy: www.pollyandco.com  breakageis on top of scalp and you feel and see stubbles @ scalp:and it treatable:

Treatment: Consult with your stylist/seek reason for loss or breakage and treat as follows: elimate the problem for the breakage first:

1.          treat hair gently and add deep conds. With moisture/protein/oil as often as you shampoo your hair:Tip: you can subistute cond. To cleanse your hair and leaves hair feeling clean and soft:(add great moisture this way)

5.          My hair is excessively dry, what can I do @ home? Curly hair is always dry naturally and because what we use as chemicals and our hair tools can cause even more dryness: The best way to eliminate dryness is:shampoo with cond. Not shampoos. also use moisturizers to re hydrate your hair with an all natural oil to add shine and wrap your hair in hot towel 2-3 times with the treatment on: leaves hair nourished and with incredible shine and softness: Tip #2. Apply leave in cond. before styling hair/this will add even more hydration/ and protection while styling:

6.          If I relax my hair can I color it too? And if so when? Yes you can add color and relax too: that the great news: however here are few cautions: Use only  low volumes peroxide, 5-10 vol. and color after few days or 1 week after the relaxer:(gives scalp time to heal) Use non peroxide color when you can: All natural brands: with these formulas you can enhance the color/add depth/shine and cover gray: Re: highlights with relaxers:

Consult your stylist: and only do a few:

7.          I want to start working out: how can I keep my hair from drying and frizzing: When working out your hair will get wet and cause a little frizz: wear sweat ban/and allow hair and scalp to cool down and then apply natural oil to add shine and finish styling as needed. Or if you have wash and wear, cleanse with cond. Add oil and use leave cond. after wetting your hair.

8.          Can you give me names of new products that are natural and good for my for my hair:Phytospecific is one of my favorite all natural hair lines:www.pollyandco.com    and it has my favorite all natural relaxer: made of soy and egg.  There are 2 new great products from this line: The night treatment made to help elimate dryness/breakage and the New Hydra-repairing spray: great to elimate split/dry ends and helps to add softness and makes ends less dry from styling tools:
